Health Savings Account Rate and Fee Schedule

Each account holder agrees to the terms set forth on this Rate and Fee Schedule and acknowledges that it is a part of the Membership and Account Agreement. This Rate and Fee Schedule sets forth current conditions, rates, fees and charges applicable to your Health Savings Accounts at Central Willamette Community Credit Union at this time. The Credit Union may offer other rates and fees or amend the rates and fees contained in this schedule from time to time. Fees may reduce earnings.

TRUTH-IN-SAVINGS DISCLOSURES
  1. Rate Information. The Interest Rate and Annual Percentage Yield on your account is set forth above. The Interest Rate and Annual Percentage Yield may change periodically. The Interest Rate and Annual Percentage Yields applicable to the account depends on the balance ranges set forth above. Once the balance range is met, the highest Interest Rate and Annual Percentage Yield will apply to the entire balance in you account.
  2. Compounding and Crediting. Interest will be compounded and credited as set forth above.
  3. Accrual of Interest. Interest begins to accrue on cash deposits on the business day you make the deposit to your account. Interest will begin to accrue on noncash deposits (e.g. checks) on the business day you make the deposit into your account.
  4. Balance Information. The minimum balance required to open the account is set forth above. The minimum balance required to obtain the stated Annual Percentage Yield is set forth above. If the minimum daily balance is not met, you will not earn the stated Annual Percentage Yield. Interest is calculated by the daily balance method which applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
  5. Account Limitations. The account may not be used to secure a loan. No overdrafts are allowed on the account, any item causing an overdraft will be returned for non-sufficient funds. The account may be opened with a zero balance, however a deposit must be made within 30 days or the account will be closed and a fee may be assessed.
  6. HSA Fees. The payment of fees has no effect on your contributions. We have the right to liquidate your Health Savings Account assets or the assets of our choice to pay such fees. The Credit Union will not be responsible for any losses or claims that may arise out of the liquidation of such assets.
    Any deposits to your Health Savings Account to cover overdrafts or fees will result in additional contributions to your Health Savings Account.
  7. Purchases made with Visa Check Card or share drafts will be reported by the Credit Union as "normal distributions" and should only be used for "qualified medical expenses." I understand that I am responsible for any IRS or other tax penalties.
  8. I also agree to the terms and conditions of the Member Information Brochure and if issued or approved the Credit Union Check Access card, and the Home Banking services. If at any time I begin to use any of the Credit Unions services I agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the applicable Service Agreements, Electronic Funds Transfer and Funds Availability policies, as amended from time to time. The Credit Union reserves the to cancel any of these services, at any time, without prior notice.
