With nearly all high school activities suffering from diminishing funds, Central Willamette created a fund specifically designed to fill the gap in funding for select scholastic activities.
The Scholastic Activities Grants Program was launched in 2010. Each year, Central Willamette selects local high schools in our service area to participate in the grant application process. The response from the schools has been quite enthusiastic! We hear so many creative uses for our grants that deciding which requests to select is a challenge.
The mini grants program represents an extension of the Credit Union’s already active participation in the communities that we serve. Giving back is part of our culture and our ongoing community involvement reflects the fact that we live here and we care about the welfare of the families we help. Reaching out to our schools is a natural step for us.
School activities groups from the selected schools can contact their activities directors or Central Willamette to obtain an application.
